I have spent the past 2 years researching (i.e. playing with every Mini-Keg technology out there).  I have some favorites and I have some not so favorites.  Mini-kegs in my book are any growler 1 gallon size down to the 32 oz standard glass growler. These growlers are filled just as normal, and then can be fitted with a special CO2 head to pressurize the growler, thus creating a mini-keg.  I have also developed certain strategies and techniques that allow you to maximize your enjoyment out of mini-kegs.  This blog will discuss in detail each mini keg technology that is out there and will review all of them side by side in due season.  As new mini-keg technologies come out I will be sure to discuss them and review as well.

A little more about me?  I started drinking micro beers in 2004 just as I turned 21 in Michigan.  It all started at Michigan Beer nights in Mount Pleasant while attending Central Michigan University. I moved to Seattle 8 years ago and really started getting into the specific details of beers.  I always wanted to have beer on draft but never had the space.  It was until ManCan had their Kick Starter in the Spring of 2015 that I got into the Mini-Keg seen.  After getting 2 of their systems I was curious to see what other companies had similar technology.  It turns out there are a few companies out there with mini-keg technologies and I have played with them all.
